Telephone numbers and email addresses of users who register to receive more information will not be rented to outside firms for sales purposes. Richmond Events, Inc. may use the telephone numbers or email addresses for surveys or market research consultation with users, and may allow outside firms contracted to Richmond Events, Inc. to use them for surveys.
If you register to attend a Richmond Event then we collect the information necessary to fulfil the terms and conditions of your booking and to comply with international maritime law. Such information includes:
- Your date of birth
- Your nationality
- Your passport number and expiry date
- Your credit card number
- Details of your next of kin
We will never collect sensitive information (e.g. your racial origin or sexual preferences), and all information will be collected only with your explicit consent. Any information collection in connection with your booking will be shared with the relevant cruise company and may be supplied to the Department of Homeland Security.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracy we will endeavor to delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
We use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
E-mails to you will be sent to the address(s) you specify to us. You must only provide us with a valid e-mail address and it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to those addresses. By signing a contract with us you are agreeing to receive email communications from Richmond Events Inc/Ltd. that are relevant to your attendance or cancellation at the event. You can unsubscribe from receiving any future marketing emails at any time by emailing email@example.com.
